Meet Timothy Smith from New Albany, Mississippi. His family is from Fort Walton Beach, and like many, he faced struggles that left him feeling lost and hopeless. But when he found One Hopeful Place, everything changed.

With the love and support of Donna and Liz, Timothy realized that he wasn’t alone. He learned that taking care of himself would allow him to help others, and with that encouragement, he started rebuilding his life—one step at a time.

During his time at One Hopeful Place, Timothy found faith again. He started attending Taking It to the Streets Church, where he felt God moving in his life. Through daily activities and guidance, he gained the strength to turn things around.

Before leaving One Hopeful Place, Timothy secured a job at City Produce, giving him the stability he needed to continue his journey. More importantly, he began restoring his relationships with his mom, family, and children. The weight of his past mistakes was replaced with hope, purpose, and gratitude.

But the most powerful part of his story? Timothy didn’t just move on—he came back.

He returned to One Hopeful Place to share his journey—to show others that transformation is real, that hope is never lost, and that change is possible. “One Hopeful Place changed my life,” he says, and now, he wants to inspire others to find the same strength and faith that helped him turn his life around.
