As a 501(C)3 non-profit organization,
we rely 100% on grants, corporate sponsorships, fundraisers, in-kind donations and monetary donations.

Donate Your Time

From distributing food and watching over the shelter during Cold Night Shelter months, to small building projects, and general outdoor upkeep, we rely on volunteers to help us serve those experiencing homelessness.

Our operating costs for food, utilities, trained staff, cleaning supplies, security, and general maintenance each month run no less than $25,000. Every month. Sometimes, especially in the cold or really hot months, the utilities are even more. And in our growing area, there’s never a shortage of people needing a safe place to sleep even just for a few nights while they get back on their feet.

Give Someone a Safe Place to Sleep

With your help… We can change lives and help reduce homelessness in Okaloosa County. We are asking for your support by making a one-time donation of $500.

This will help us feed, house, and give support through educational training, re-housing guidance, or self-sufficiency counseling for 2 people for 2-weeks. Sometimes all a person needs to get through a rough patch is to end the sleep-deprivation of always being on guard for danger, and find a new place to live, is simply a safe place to sleep.

Money Donation

Please consider setting up a monthly pledge today to One Hopeful Place. Monthly pledges will literally help keep the lights on at the shelter. Even $5 a month can go a long way.

Don’t forget, all donations are tax deductible.

Donate Supplies

Our facility goes through a lot of supplies and food each month. As one of the only places in the county where a homeless person can do basic self-care, without spending precious food money on doing laundry or taking a shower, One Hopeful Place has an ongoing request for personal toiletry items too.

See our list of approved supplies then schedule your drop-off appointment!
